Analog, digital, camera, iPhone, the means don't really matter to me, the moment does. Spanning from the early 2000's until now, the photos offer a glimpse of the real, gritty, less travelled side of the cities I passed through.
From analog to iPhone, it’s not the gear that matters to me but the moment. This pool of images captures raw, unfiltered glimpses of the gritty, rugged, sometimes hazardous and unexplored places I’ve passed through over 20 years of "vagabondage". A visual journey through the hidden side of urban life.

“Graffiti writing breaks the hegemonic hold of corporate / governmental style over the urban environment and the situations of daily life. As a form of aesthetic sabotage, it interrupts the pleasant, efficient uniformity of “planned” urban space and predictable urban living. For the writers, graffiti disrupts the lived experience of mass culture, the passivity of mediated consumption.“
